Slaven Bilić is a retired Croatian footballer and he is the manager of RCD Espanyol and the former manager of English club West Hammers United. His career began in 1988 with his hometown club Dynamite Zagreb and he later had successful spells with Karlsruher SCin Germany, and West Hammers United in Engbland before retiring from active football in 2001.
